Modifications by Vocadira: selection of English lemmas; removal of unsuitable/inflected/marked entries and empty or excessively long glosses; whitespace normalization; removal of purely navigational gloss suffixes; stable identifiers; duplicate merging; editorial theme assignment; starter sense ordering; chunking and compact JSON formatting. Source content may still contain errors and is not a professionally certified or exhaustively reviewed dictionary. Version 1.3.0 also removes specifically identified grammatical/spelling references without Italian meanings, definitions written entirely in English, two Italian conjugations mixed into the English entry modulate, and the ambiguous gloss decoratore for medallist. No replacement translations were invented. Exact original glosses, stable IDs and reasons are recorded in /data/report.json (import.sourceCorrections) and /data/upgrade-report.json (baselineCorrections). The automatic pedagogical catalog also excludes four entries with explicit/offensive register insufficiently contextualized or tagged in the source; independent API lookup is not restricted. The resulting adapted lexical data is distributed under CC BY-SA 4.0. This data license does not automatically apply to independent application code. FREQUENCY SELECTION wordfreq 3.1.1, Copyright 2022 Robyn Speer. Selection: 15,000 distinct available English lemmas from the top 100,000 English wordfreq ordering plus the documented thematic seeds; all usable source senses/POS retained. Comparison baseline: the shipped 1.2.0 catalog (10,000 lemmas, 12,049 entries, 21,083 senses). All valid prior senses and their stable IDs are preserved; 71 identified defective glosses are removed. The reproducible comparison and exact exceptions are in /data/upgrade-report.json. Saved personal vocabulary snapshots are not modified. https://github.com/rspeer/wordfreq wordfreq code: Apache License 2.0. wordfreq data: CC BY-SA 4.0. It does not provide the Italian translations above. Runtime responses retain their source URLs and license metadata when provided. The API definition order is not used to map Italian senses.
